On Thursday May 6, 2010, the General Directorate of Libraries, Department of Culture and Communication and the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Department of the Interior and Public Administration organized an information session for any Library System Library of Catalonia interested in knowing how they can participate in the process of accreditation of skills in information technology and communication (ACTIC) collaborating centers.
ACTIC the certificate to the digital competition, understood as the combination of knowledge, skills and attitudes in the field of information technology and communication that people develop in real situations to achieve specific goals with effectiveness and efficiency.
ACTIC allow anyone over 16 years to demonstrate their ICT skills through a computer test. Both the test and obtain a certificate will be telematics.
People who successfully complete the test a certificate will be issued by the Government, which will enable them to demonstrate a certain skill level (basic, intermediate or advanced) ICT to every business and administration.
